Room measurements should remain room measurements.
This notice explains what RoomFact processes, what stays in your browser, and what changes would be required before optional analytics or advertising can be enabled.
Tool and planner data
Calculator entries, budgets, furniture dimensions, and planner contents are processed in your browser. RoomFact does not receive those values when you use a tool.
Planner and checklist progress may be saved in local browser storage. You can remove it with the relevant reset control or your browser settings. A share link stores plan data in the URL fragment; the fragment is not sent with the page request, but anyone who receives the complete link can read that plan data.
Contact submissions
When you use the contact form, RoomFact receives the name, email address, topic, and message you provide. Netlify processes and stores the submission on RoomFact's behalf and can send a private notification to the publisher.
Contact information is used to review and respond to the inquiry, maintain a necessary correction or request record, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. It is reviewed periodically and deleted when no longer reasonably needed for those purposes. Do not submit private room plans, precise home addresses, payment details, access codes, or sensitive personal information.
Hosting and technical records
Netlify hosts RoomFact and processes request information needed to deliver and secure the site, which can include IP address, browser and device information, requested page, timestamp, and security events. Its processing and retention are governed by Netlify's service settings and policies.
RoomFact does not sell personal information. Links to other websites are governed by those sites' own privacy practices.
Analytics and advertising
At the date of this notice, RoomFact does not load an analytics service or request display ads. No calculator values, planner contents, contact contents, or email addresses are sent to either category of service.
If Google AdSense is activated, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to RoomFact or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve personalized ads based on visits to RoomFact and other sites. Ad requests can also process IP address, device and browser information, page activity, approximate location, and consent signals for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and personalization where permitted.
Before any ad request is enabled, RoomFact must configure the required consent controls. A Google-certified consent management platform will be used for visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland when required. Additional third-party advertising vendors, if enabled, will be identified through the consent interface or this notice.
Your choices
You can clear local data through the site controls or browser settings. You may use the contact page to ask about, correct, or request deletion of personal information submitted through the form. The rights available to you depend on applicable law.
